A picture of president-elect Nana Akufo-Addo as a student at Lancing College in UK has gone viral on the internet.
The picture was shared by Lancing College in a report on its website on December 22, which congratulated Akufo-Addo for winning the presidency of the Republic of Ghana.
Akufo-Addo attended the college between 1957–1961 before proceeding to New College, Oxford, to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
He left in 1962 and returned to Ghana to teach at the Accra Academy.
The Lancing College report noted that Akufo-Addo was called "Billy" when he was at the school.
It said Akufo-Addo was an "outstanding sportsman", "a talented all-rounder", and a "gifted debater" who stimulated many political discussions.
