The Queen of England , Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s was almost shot dead by one of her guards while she was taking a stroll around her palace grounds.

“Bloody hell, Your Majesty, I nearly shot you,” a guard who remained anonymous told the New York Times stating that he mistook her as a threat in the palace.

“That’s quite all right, Next time I’ll ring through beforehand so you don’t have to shoot me,” the Queen said.

The Queen, now 90, has recently been sick, and missed Christmas and New Year’s Day church services after suffering from a “heavy cold.”
