The anticipation for tomorrow is about to reach a climax as preparations towards the 7th January inauguration of Ghana's next president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo at the Black Star Square draws close.
But fashion fanatics wonder, what will Ghana's next president wear on his big day?
Nana Addo has been portrayed as one who belongs to the elite class in society and therefore commands a certain aura of classicism and western traits.
Therefore, very few will be shocked to see him wear suit on his big day. However, it has been noticed that Nana Addo may be getting tired of the suit life already as he ages.
Most recently, even when he has worn suits for befitting events, he goes without the neck tie, which many men have admitted to be very uncomfortable.
Nana Addo also seems to like his easy-on shirts that do not need to be tucking in. He may be looking for the simplest way to live now. He has enough on his plate as it is. Can't be bothering about clothes.
Some are also speculating that since Nana Addo is trying to rebrand the New Patriotic Party as an all inclusive party that does not only "belong" to Akans, he might wear a solidarity northern outfit that may represent his intention to be a president for all?
Or just to be on the safer side, will he do what President Mahama did in 2012 by wearing an all white outfit? Surely, that is very neutral, easy on and formal enough to suit the occasion.
Well, a lot more people are betting that just like his predecessor and former president John Agyekum Kufuor, Nana Addo will go for a traditional Kente outfit, because after all, he is Akan.
Anything besides Kente will be a shocker! The inauguration of any president is a big deal, one that will go down in history forever and for that, a lasting impression, fashion wise has to be made.
What do you think Nana Addo will wear tomorrow?
