The director of the National Service Scheme, Dr Michael Kpessah-Whyte has cleared out his desk and left his post at the NSS directorate.
According to Dr Kpessah-Whyte, he has already handed over the keys of his office, as well as the keys to his official vehicle to the management of the scheme, thanking them for their service.
In a tweet announcing his exit from the post, Dr Kpessah-Whyte said, "Just met with the management of the national service scheme. Thanked them for their service to Ghana, handed over office keys and car. Grateful JDM."
Tonight at midnight, President Mahama's tenure ends, and tomorrow January 7 will be the inauguration of Nana Akufo-Addo as the president of the Republic of Ghana.
The current parliament under the Mahama administration will also be dissolved tonight, making way for the 7th parliament of the 4th Republic under the Nana Addo administration.
