Former President Jerry John Rawlings has made up with Alfred Okoe Vanderpuye, the chief executive officer of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA).
It comes after Rawlings brutally snubbed Vanderpuye when the AMA boss attempted to engage him in a conversation at the State House on Thursday.
A video of the encounter quickly went viral on the web and provoked criticism for Rawlings.

However, Rawlings who attended the swearing in of the 7th parliament of the Fourth Republic on Friday night, approached Vanderpuye and engaged him in a chat for a few minutes.
The former president appeared to apologise for his conduct on Thursday.
