There is no doubt in our mind that the inaugural ceremony of President Nana Akufo-Addo was one of the most spectacular we have ever seen in Ghana's political history.
This inauguration was not just a display of Ghana's maturing democracy but also about the iconic change in Ghana's political structure.
Let's take a close look at the very things that took Nana's inauguration to a different level:
1. When Nana broke the glass ceiling by going ALL bare-chested in a richly woven Kente.
2. When Ghanaians converged at the Independence Square in their massive numbers
3. When Samira Bawumia taught us a few fashion lessons
4. When over 6000 international and local guests came from far and near to pat Nana Addo at the back.
Nana Addo is the 5th president in the 4th republic of Ghana and also the only opposition leader to have defeated a sitting president in 24 years.
