President Akufo-Addo is urging Ghanaians to make it a point to remember the first and second families in their prayers.
Speaking during a thanksgiving service at Kyebi on Sunday, Nana Addo opened up on how his wife, First lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, always wanted the best for him.
“Some of the prayers should also go to my beautiful lady, Rebecca, whom the people of Osu have given to me as a wife. She scolds me too much. I know she wants the best for me but pray to God to make her relax a bit,” Mr Akufo-Addo indicated.
Meanwhile, President Nana Akufo-Addo has revealed that his government would not be domineering, saying: “We (the New Patriotic Party government) have come to serve and depict humility in our speech and deeds for Ghanaians to know that we have something good in us for which purpose we persisted until Ghanaians gave us the mandate to govern.”
Close to 6000 guests graced Nana Addo's colorful investiture. Nana Addo is the 5th president in the 4th republic of Ghana and also the only opposition leader to have defeated a sitting president in 24 years.
