Following Mr. Dwamena's disappearance rumors had it that the broadcast journalist had been used as a sacrifice for occult rituals to ensure the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) victory in last December's general election. Rumors that will come to a decisive end with his reappearance.

Sunday, January 10th, the broadcast journalist finally broke his month long silence and publicly commented on his whereabouts. He said he deliberately went into hiding in order to pray for the NPP's victory in last year's general elections, till the president's swearing in on January 7th.

Speaking on Ashh 101.1 FM, Mr. Daasebre Agyei Dwamenan used the opportunity to thank everyone who took part in the efforts to find him while he was reported missing.
