Ghana’s Second-Lady says she has been surprised by the way her dressing at the inauguration of President Akufo-Addo broke the internet.

Samira Bawumia, wife of Ghana’s vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, became an internet sensation after dazzling in her outfit at the event.
The Second-Lady graced the event clad in a colorful African Print, woven with beads and complimented with a yellow scarf.
Social media immediately took notice, with Samira getting a lot of plaudits for her artistic appearance. And many were also keen to know the stylist behind the First-Lady’s catching garment.

However, she has now revealed that her outfit was decided by herself and not by a professional stylist.
Mrs Bawumia told SwagOfAfricaNews that “I styled myself for the inauguration” and expressed shock at the way the internet reacted to her outfit.
The Black Stars Square was the venue where Nana Akufo- Addo was sworn-in as President of Ghana together with his vice Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The event witnessed many dignitaries but the garment of the Second-Lady took centre-stage after pictures of her, on arrival, flooded social media pages around the country.
