If you think Ghana's energy crisis is long gone, you may want to think again because the Africa Center for Energy Policy (ACEP) is predicting a come back of dumsor starting February this year.

The erstwhile Mahama administration claims to have put in place the needed infrastructure to boost energy generation in Ghana with former President Mahama in his last state of the nation's address boasting that Ghana was on the path of becoming "energy sufficient".
But policy advisor of ACEP, Dr. Ishmael Ackah, reveals that the danger the power sector will face could be attributed to a potential disruption in gas supply and the shutting down of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) for maintenance.
