Ghana’s senior national team, Black Stars as part of preparation for the upcoming to African Cup of Nations in Gabon will play Asian side Bunyodkor from Uzbekistan in a friendly in Dubai.
According to the Black Stars management committee chairman, George Afriyie, there is intense competition amongst players in camp.
“I have no doubts, the team is determined and focused.”
Touching on why the Black stars have not played enough friendlies ahead of the AFCON, the management chairman said the inability to raise enough funds mainly affected the preparation process.

He, however, opined that hopefully, the team will be able to at least play two friendlies before the tournament starts Saturday.
Mr. Afriyie said the friendly will also give an idea who will start and how ready the players are for the AFCON.
The match kicks off at 5pm local time (1300GMT).
