The actress and former Miss Ghana runner-up makes the news for both the right and mostly wrong reasons and she is undeterred in the face of the accusations that are thrown at her feet.
But before she was the Yvonne Nelson we’ve grown accustomed to here is how it all begun for her some 32 years ago.
She is a Fanti from Cape Coast who was born to Mr Oko Nelson and Margaret Gaddy but the actress and her dad are estranged.
This is Yvonne and her beautiful mum whom she inherited her looks from at a tender age.
Yvonne has always been graceful and this was her as a 5-year-old student at Martin De-Porres School, Dansoman.
Later she moved to Aggrey Memorial School in Cape Coast where she took to rapping and entertainment.

She was a 1st-runner up of Miss Ghana pageant in 2005 and this paved a way for her to become the star she is today.
She even met President Nana Akufo-Addo in the process.
Ms Nelson had her big break when she landed a lead role in Princess Tyra and as they say, the rest is history.
