The new Member of Parliament for the Korle Klottey Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings shared with her fans and constituents, her first day in Parliament via social media.

In a post on her official Facebook page, the hands-on young woman was all smiles as she posed behind her desk and some files in the chambers of parliament, which will be her next home for the next four years.

Dr. Rawlings' seat seems to be far at the back but hopefully, will not prevent her from making submissions in the House to see to it that her constituents get the best out of her tenure.

On her first day, she opted for a green and black outfit that complimented her natural hair up do.

Dr. Zanetor won her seat in a fierce competition against her main opposition, Philip Addison of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) amidst several controversies.

She is one of the few MPs with all eyes on her due to the fact that she is the daughter of former president Rawlings, one of Ghana's leaders known for his intolerance for corruption.
