Stop arguing over my 2020 election bid, rather strengthen NDC - Mahama tells party members

Former president Mahama has finally broken his silence on his bid to contest the 2020 elections, Classfmonline has learnt.

Reports claim the former president made the revelation during a highly classified meeting held between him and minority MPs as well as some party executives including General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia, party Chair Kofi Portuphy and stalwart Kofi Attoh near Gold House in Accra.

President Mahama has therefore urged members of the party to rather channel their energies into reorganizing the NDC and strengthening its base.

Earlier on, the family of president Mahama revealed that Mr. Mahama will rather be taking a long rest from politics.
