Nacee who produced the popular hit single “Onaapo” with DeeAja for the erstwhile NDC government during the 2016 campaign said he did it for business purpose.
In an interview with the host of Abusua FM’s Ike Da-Unpredictable on the latter’s show, he disclosed that this is not the first time he is creating music for a certain presidential candidate.
According to him, he composed music for former presidents Kufuor and Mills when they were running for their second terms respectively.

However, the songs did not receive massive exposure because there was no system like social media to publicise it.
"I am not an NDC supporter, I am not a card bearing member of any political party, I have never been. I composed a song for former President Kufour but it didn’t come out because my media connection was limited, besides the internet was not in en vogue, so after composing the song, you just have to deliver to the fellow who contracted you. There was nothing like social media then, no WhatsApp, Facebook, and there were few media houses, though we played it at their various campaign platforms, it wasn’t a hit," he explained.
He also stated that he was not paid a billion cedis as it's being purported in some sections of the media.
The ace sound engineer was, however, unable to tell the host of the show who he voted for during the 2016 polls. He went ahead to reveal that he has transacted business with politicians from different backgrounds.
