Nana Akomea was very instrumental during the NPP’s bid for a return to government in the 2016 elections. He was very involved in the party’s campaigns, gracing various media platforms to discuss the NPP’s policies for the nation.
Presidential aspirant for the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo subsequently defeated incumbent John Mahama to emerge President of Ghana in last December’s elections.
However, President Akufo-Addo’s appointments so far have excluded Nana Akomea which has raised eyebrows in certain quarters.
