The young man has been in the grips of the police as investigations into the murder of the late New Patriotic Party's MP.
Daniel Asiedu, made a passionate plea to the Accra Magistrate Court on Tuesday, 17th January 2017.
He urged the court to allow his family bring him "home-cooked" meals as the police had allegedly refused him adequate food since December 30, 2016. The magistrate of the court, Mr. Stephen Owusu, had asked the accused if he had any grievances he would expect the court to deal with.

Daniel Asiedu was arrested a few days after the murder of JB Danquah and charged with murder after he allegedly confessed to stabbing the late MP in his residence.
Despite confessing to having stabbed the deceased, Daniel noted that he entered the MP’s house to steal but not to kill and only stabbed the late Danquah during a struggle.
His latest demand adds to a long list of incredulous demands he has made during his time behind bars.
Daniel Asiedu had earlier asked for a chance to see his girlfriend while in the grips of the police.
