The Finance Minister-designate has called on investors to report any incidents of bribery they encounter in Ghana.
Ken Ofori-Atta made this call when he was addressing a Moroccan business delegation at the Ghana-Morocco Economic Meeting.
According to the Finance Minister-designate, the new government was working to build a “country in which that (corruption) would not be tolerated”.
“We’re going to run a government that is clean, and please report anything you find. It takes two people to do it; both the person coming in and the person here to receive it,” he added.
Mr Ofori-Atta said the new government would ensure the passing of a Fiscal Responsibility Act by the end of the year to “ensure (the government) stays within the ambit of sustainability and avoid excessive deficit”.
