Daily Guide reports that these "nicely-printed posters popped up barely 24 hours after news broke that former President John Dramani Mahama, who lost the 2016 poll to Nana Akufo-Addo (now president) with over one million votes, would not contest in the next election."

So far, it remains unknown if the former vice president will be taking this ticket but fears are that he might perform poorly.

Meanwhile, "sources in the party have hinted that some top members, especially those who are nursing presidential ambition, are not comfortable about the emergence of Mr. Amissah-Arthur’s posters – with almost four years to the next general election," Daily Guide reveals.
