Gambia's President-elect Adama Barrow has been sworn in at the country's embassy in neighboring Senegal.

This comes as regional forces massed at the border to force incumbent Yahya Jammeh to quit after his election defeat.
Mr. Jammeh has refused to step down despite losing an election and conceding defeat earlier.
He says there were irregularities in the election held on December 1 2016, and that some of his supporters were turned away from polling stations.

All UN Security Council states were represented at the inauguration of Gambia's President-elect today.
Speaking at his inauguration, Adama Barrow said he is the president of Gambia, "regardless of whether you voted for me or not."
He said all arms personnel should return to the barracks.
