Senior Minister designate, Yaw Osafo Marfo has said that the country will continue to borrow funds from international organisations and richer foreign countries although under a pile of debt currently.
The experienced statesman was queried about his intention towards alleviating the burden of debt the country is currently under.
In an honest response, Mr. Osafo Marfo stated that the government will not be able to achieve most of it's goals without financial assistance from external sources. However, the conditions under which the country borrowed will be reviewed.
""We will be borrowing more, certainly... But under different arrangements," he said.
He added that "Our negotiations will go in different directions, and will include reborrowing and refinancing on better times."
Osafo Marfo forms part of two other ministers who are being vetted before parliament under Nana Addo's administration.
