The newspaper quoted Saddique, a Ghanaian based in Libya, as saying that some Ghanaians and other people of African descent had been arrested and had their heads cut off.

He said hundreds had also been chained and transported to unknown places.

He said some Libyans were searching for black people in ghettos to be tortured and killed.

The development is said to have struck fear into the hearts of some Ghanaians in Berekum, Dormaa Ahenkro, Nkoranza and other towns in Brong Ahafo Region who have relatives in Libya.

The Daily Guide said gory pictures of dead black Africans in Libya are circulating in the country.

Saddique, according to the report, appealed to Ghanaians planning to travel to Libya to stay at home and invest in businesses in the country.
