The artiste returned to his alma mater to make the gesture as part of his soon-to-be-launched “Livingstone Foundation”.
Speaking to the students, Stonebwoy advised them to take their studies very serious.
“I’m grateful that I went through Tema Methodist Day Senior High School, passed my courses and moved on. Aside the academia, I nurtured my music talent. Not to say you should forget school, you need to take your studies seriously."
“Not everyone is privileged to have parents or guardians pay their schools fees, much less to say on a regular. Even myself at some point, I had to struggle to get my fees paid, so if you have people who support you with school fees, you should take that seriously.”

The one-time BET nominee urged the student to put their struggles behind them and focus of what they want to achieve.
“And these things I am saying is not new to some of you, but I am sharing my story with you to remind you that many people have gone through same situation as you, but it can only get better."
“The likes of me and Sarkodie were here. Every level of life is a struggle, but how you come out of the situation is what elevates you and makes you a winner.”
Mrs. Ellen Asare Pepra, the Headmistress of the school was thankful for the kind gesture and praised the artiste.
“Not very often do we see such happen to underprivileged students and for Stonebwoy to come to their aid is an act worthy of praise. We wish Stonebwoy all the best in all his endeavours. We know he will achieve more and rise above the skies,” Mrs Pepra said.
