Presidential candidate of the PNC, Dr. Edward Nasigre Mahama has relieved the party’s general secretary off his duties for accusing him (Dr. Mahama) of using funds meant for the party to buy treasury bills.
Dr. Mahama has however denied the claims, insisting he has no treasure bill account in his name.
The 2016 presidential aspirant said Haruna again breached party rules when he reported national treasurer Akane Adams to the police without informing the party’s hierarchy.
