According to a JOY NEWS report the minister-designate for Tourism, Arts and Culture is being investigated for a breach of contract case in 2007.

She and her husband have been directed by an Accra High Court to pay $217,464.00 plus 50% interest to a US couple in charges brought against them.

But reports say Mrs Afeku and her husband have failed to honour the court’s directive.

The above accusations have lead to the probe by the president following the Evalue-Gwira MP’s ministerial nomination.

Catherine Afeku was one of 36 ministerial nominees named by President Akufo-Addo to be approved by Parliament.
