Earlier this morning, Mr John Kudalor was at the presidency to bid farewell to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ahead of the unveiling of a new police chief to succeed him.
Former President John Mahama in February last year swore in John Kudalor as the substantive Inspector General of Police (IGP) with a call on him to check indiscipline on roads to avert unnecessary deaths.
Mr Kudalor until he was sworn into office had been acting as IGP since the retirement of Mohammed Alhassan in November 2015.
