Kennedy Agyapong, the member of Parliament for Assin Central in Central Region, has claimed that former President John Mahama's family is involved in trafficking cocaine.
Speaking on his radio station, Accra-based Oman FM, Agyapong claimed that the Mahama were plotting to importing huge quantities of cocaine into the country and vowed to expose them.
”They want to import quantities of illicit drugs into this country and I’m telling them they shouldn’t make that mistake," he said, adding that Ibrahim Mahama and other close relatives of Mahama, including his aunt, were involved in the plot.
“Mahama’s auntie, who is the mother of Ibrahim Mahama, president Mahama’s younger brother, is a drug baron. She is obsessed with drugs and she baths with it,” the controversial MP claimed.
Agyapong went on to accuse Ibrahim Mahama of dealing in stolen cars and distributing same to some chiefs in the country.
