President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.is scheduled to swear-in 8 of the ministerial nominees who have successful undergone the vetting process and and received the green light from parliaments Appointments Committee.
The ministerial nominees who are expected to be sworn in to day are Alan Kyerematen – Trade, Ken Ofori-Atta – Finance, Dominic Nitiwul – Defence, Albert Kan-Dapaah – National Security, Gloria Akuffo – Attorney General and Justice Minister, Ambrose Dery – the Interior, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey – Foreign Affairs, and Hajia Alima Mahama – Local Government & Rural Development.
13 ministerial nominees have undergone vetting in with Parliaments's Appointments Committee, also the reports on the five remaining nominees are expected to be put before the house soon for deliberation soon.

Reports have it that the minority in parliament had concerns with certain aspects of the five remaining nominees, this being the reason for the delay. The minority insists Senior Minister-designate Yaw Osafo Marfo and Energy Minister-designate Boakye Agyarko have a few questions to answer.
While the chairman of the Appointments Committee, Joe Osei Owusu told Class News’ parliamentary correspondent on Thursday that the two have been cleared, the Ranking Member on the committee Hon. Haruna Iddrisu denied that allegation and said that there had been no decision to that effect.
