President Nana Addo to leave Ghana for AU Summit in Ethiopia

The president will be taking part in an Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

This will be Nana Addo’s second trip outside Ghana after his inauguration as President.

An executive council meeting of the union will start today and preceed the AU summit, which is expected to take place from 30th to 31st January.

Nana Addo had earlier joined other heads of state at the 27th African-France Summit held in Bamako, Mali.

The summit was to discuss how economic growth in the represented countries will lead to a more “inclusive economy”, which will create jobs for the youth.
