Top member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, has finally broken his silence over his resolve to campaign for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2016 elections.
The new comments made by Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe are nothing to do about the 2016 elections but rather the ministerial appointments by President Nana Akufo-Addo especially that of the defense minister, Dominic Nitiwul.
In an interview with Joy FM, the top NPP member revealed that;
“I believe a more senior person should have been put there. I know the military well. The military has certain settings and a way they behave. I think they will be more comfortable with a very senior figure. You are going to deal with people who are very straightforward. What they dislike is arrogance. The moment you display a peck of arrogance that is the end of you, so I will advise that he should be polite and calm in his office,” he argued.
Dominic Nitiwul has been vetted and has now been approved by parliament to be Ghana’s next defense minister.
