‘You know that I have done a song with Sizzla Kalonji. So we are going to do the launch of the song and link it to an Okyeame Kwame-Sizzla Concert in Cincinnati and there is also a big possibility that the versatile show would be going along with this very programme. So we are arranging that we do an amazing play called “Mansa Musa the King in You”.
Okyeame Kwame added that the concert scheduled for February is geared towards displaying rich African history in an attempt to boost African-American self-esteem in the city.
"We want to show black Americans especially and Africans in the diaspora that our history is much richer than the history they tell them. And that they come from a place. They come from the Osei Tutu’s, Mansa Musas, Sundiatas and the Pharoahs".
"We want to show them how these families and empires used to behave. And that they built cities and understood chemistry and physics."
"And with self worth all these black life matter and all these things would really go down because they would show the world the true quality of who they are without having to fight for it,’ he said."
