Police to crack down on criminals in 2017

If you have plans of committing homicide or armed robber in 2017, you better think twice because the Ghana police service says it will be tightening its law enforcement across the country this year.

The Atwima-Mponua District Commander, (ASP) Christian Dogba has firmly revealed that the police service will be staying on top of their game to clamp down on criminals across the country.

Speaking at the inauguration of a 38-member neighborhood watch committee at Adaikrom in the Ashanti region, Christian Dogba requests for criminals not to be subjected to mob justice but rather brought towards the police for investigations.

Crime rates are feared to have soared in 2016 with cases of homicide and armed robbery being on the high side.
