With barely a month since the inauguration of Nana Addo as president of the republic, there remains a tag over who indeed is running the security affairs of the seat of government - Flagstaff House.

Reports claims that the Flagstaff house is being safeguarded by the Invisible forces of the NPP but the Inspector General of Police (IGP), David Asante-Apeatu, has fiercely debunked these claims.

“It hasn’t been brought to my attention…No [it’s not true],” he revealed on Starr FM in Accra.

Mr. Asante-Apeatu was appointed acting IGP by President Akufo-Addo last week following the retirement of former IGP John Kudalor.
