Ghanaian actor Joseph Osei, best known in the Kumawood movie industry as Wayoosi is apparently looking to join the list of names for potential deputy ministers of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
According to the Kumawood star, he believes he can handle the post efficiently, as can his colleague, Kwadwo Nkansah also known as Lil Win, and added that the position does not require one to speak 'big English.'
Speaking on Hello FM, the actor said he was prepared to serve in the position, stating, "People should stop rushing for the deputy ministerial position. We're all Ghanaians and we are also in the profession. We can efficiently work hard there. Myself and Lilwin can do efficient job. It's not about speaking big English."
The list of names of industry stakeholders lobbying to assist Catherine Afeku in the Tourism and Arts Ministry keeps growing longer, featuring the big names from across different sectors of the industry.
Included in the list are Socrates Safo, Mark Okraku, Kojo Antwi, and most recently Oscar Provencal was also hinted at for the position.
