Former President John Agyekum Kufour has in Singapore to participate in a ceremony where a Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO) vessel will named after him.
The FPSO in question is expected to operate in the Cape Three Points (OCTP) oilfields in the Western Region. The FPSO will be Ghana's first FPSO capable to process crude oil and gas all the way into finished product all on one platform.
Built by Keppel Offshore and Marine Company Ltd is expected to process approximately 58,000 barrels of crude oil and 98 million standard cubic feet of gas a day from the OCTP fields.

Along with former President Kufuor, First lady Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo had also touched-down in Singapore to participate in the naming of the nations newest offshore asset.
It appears that it wasnt owned by ENI Oil, Ghana Limited, Vitol Upstream, Ghana Limited and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation.
The platform is expected to sail into Ghanaian waters by April 2017.
