Valentine’s Day which falls on the 14th of February every year, is a special day set aside to promote genuine and unconditional love amongst all people.
Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese on Valentine’s Day this year has pledged to extend his heartfelt love to up to 1,000 inmates of the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital in Adenta.
The artiste intends to feed an arty with the inmates who are usually the least loved in the Ghanaian society.
The one time artiste of the year also put out an appeal to those who may like to support his Valentine's Day gesture saying, " February is the month of love and this is how best we gonna spread love. Love is love, let's make this happen."
Kwaw Kese after he was convicted in November 2014 for smoking marijuana in public launched the Kwaw Kese Foundation with the aim of transforming Ghana in his own way.
He especially wants to focus on prisoners and the mentally challenged.
The Kwaw Kese Foundation, launched on August 19, 2015, presented a 20-year development project for Ghana’s prisons at the Ghana Prisons Service (GPS) head office in Accra, with the hope to raise funds to help as many prisons as possible.
