According to a Starr News report, the incident occurred during Justice Charles Edward Ekow Baiden’s court sitting in Accra.

The sitting was immediately suspended as fellow lawyers in the court, with the help of a former Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) boss, Mr. Akrasi Sarpong, administered first aid to the state attorney until the health care personnel stationed at the ground floor of the Law Court Complex arrived to resuscitate her.

Madam Aryitey-Smith was then taken away in a wheelchair to the clinic in the court premises for further treatment.
