Dean of graduate school of the Ghana Telecom University College, Dr Francis Agyenim Boateng is of the view that the minister designate must be paid her national service allowance instead of the normal salary in the first 12 months of her regime as minister of state.

Otiko Djaba sparked heightened debate during her vetting where she revealed that she did not do her national service all because she was out of the country – a development which has seen parliamentarians call for her appointment to be quashed.
