Sources close to the former administration confirmed the news of President Mahama's official vacation of the residence to the Daily Graphic.

According to the sources, former Presidential Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, signed a report of an inventory carried out in the residence officials of the administration and the Public Works Department (PWD) yesterday morning.

Security personnel posted at the residence confirmed that President Mahama had indeed vacated the residence, but could not ascertain as what time this occurred.

Members of the media who had been present to cover the tour taken by the PWD and the former Chief of Staff yesterday were denied the opportunity to cover the tour.

Journalists who were given access were screened in order to make sure no pictures were taken whether inside or outside the house, especially since the immediate area surrounding the residence is a designated security zone.
