Following how the New Patriotic Party government descended on Kofi Adams, the National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Joshua Akamba has warned against similar actions.

Joshua Akamba, who is the Deputy National Organizer of the opposition NDC has said it would not be easy for NPP to "rob" him of his cars.
The NDC stalwart recounted how he suffered a similar fate when the NPP came into power in 2001. Akamba reiterated that "they would have to kill me to take my vehicle this time."
The NPP government is supposedly on a "car-seizing spree" which has affected some NDC executives and former government officials.

One of the victims was Kofi Adams, who allegedly benefited from a supposed looting of over 100 government vehicles before his party left office after the 2016 elections.
Kofi Adams, who was out of the country at the time of the operation revealed that his house was raided by a combined team of military and national security operatives, seizing five vehicles in the process.
The NDC believe that the governing NPP of intimidating and victimizing its members for sheer political expediency.
