Exactly a year today, NPP Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu was killed at his East Legon residence in his bedroom.
A year on, as part of his remembrance, a group named Abuakwa Youth for Justice are asking President nana Akufo-Addo to bring closure on the death of the former MP.
According to a statement signed by Secretary of the group, Nana Sei, “even two persons have been arrested and arranged before court but it looks as if stories that come out of the proceedings are not satisfying enough”.

“Even two persons have been arrested and arraigned before court but it looks as if stories that come out of the proceedings are not satisfying enough,” the statement said.
Mr Danquah-Adu was attacked by unidentified assailants at his residence at Shiashie, in Accra, in the wee hours of Tuesday, February 16, 2016.

With much regrets and lots of tears flowing down our cheeks, we the Abuakwa Youth for Justice cannot sleep without thinking about the sudden demise of our Member of Parliament (M.P.), Hon. Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu.
It’s been a year since he passed on to eternity but the truth surrounding his demise has not been uncovered.
Even two persons have been arrested and arranged before court but it looks as if stories that comes out of the proceedings are not satisfying enough, so we the Youth for Justice in Abuakwa North are appealing to the President; H.E. AKUFFO ADDO, CHIEF JUSTICE, ATTORNEY GENERAL, IGP, HON. MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT to help us to bring the person (s) involved in the murder case to book so that we would believe that indeed justice work in our beloved country.
