Man stabs step-brother to death in Accra

A man has brutally stabbed and killed his step-brother at Banana Inn in Accra, a report by The Mirror has said.

Godwin Klutsey is said to have stabbed Emmanuel Klutsey in the chest with a knife during a fight, killing him not long after.

The report said Godwin and his mother were the only ones responsible for feeding their bed-ridden father and husband respectively after fears that Emmanuel was trying to poison the man.

On January 2, 2017 at about 5:45pm, Emmanuel is said to gone to feed his father, angering Godwin, who questioned why Emmanuel should feed their father since he was not responsible for feeding him.

A misunderstanding is said to have ensued between Godwin and Emmanuel, leading to a fight and the subsequent stabbing.

Emmanuel was rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Godwin has been charged with murder and is currently facing trial at an Accra Circuit Court.
