Reverend Isaac Owusu Benpah, founder of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, has denied rumors that he instructed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Over the weekend, former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Afraim Plains, Fuseini Donkor, made certain allegations to the effect that President Nana Addo's reluctance to use the same state vehicles President Mahama used was based on advice given from Reverend Owusu Bempah.
The former District DCE said that contrary to popular reports, President Akufo-Addo's decision to use his own private vehicles, instead of using customized security vehicles was due to spiritual advice.

According to Mr. Fuseini Donkor, there is abundance of vehicles parked at the seat of government to use, including 2015 model bullet proof Land Cruisers and Toyota Avalon saloon cars, all of which are still in good shape. He therefore openly wondered why the president had chosen to use a 10 year old BMW left over by the erstwhile Kufour administration.
“What at all is frightening President Akufo Addo such that he does not want to sit in cars used by President Mahama."
"In fact, his spiritual father, Rev. Owusu Bempah has advised him not to drive in any of the cars used by President Mahama, and he can’t disclose this to Ghanaians and so has to tell a lie that there are no cars at the Flagstaff House and uses his own campaign car when he’s going outside Accra, then there must be a special reason to his actions” he said.
