The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is searching for answers over the cause of Mahama's defeat in the just ended general elections and they seem to have found a definite answer.
Deputy Eastern regional organiser of the party, Hackman Kabore has revealed that the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), Dr. Stephen K. Opuni, is definitely the one to blame for Mahama's defeat.
"How did we suffer our defeat; because apathy set in. People refused to go to the polls because they were jobless, because they were suffering and Opuni refused to give them jobs as he refused to create employment for them," he alleged.
Hackman's assertion follows a revelation by former president Rawlings that the NDC lost power because of the corruption ad arrogance of Mahama's ministers.
