Harrison Affull, Ghana Black Stars player and Columbus Crew star has been named the Major League Soccer's (MLS) ambassador to Ghana.
Speaking after a visit with the United States Ambassador to Ghana at the US embassy n Accra, Mr. Afful said that he promised to be an exemplary MLS ambassador in Ghana.
The Ghanaian senior national team player also took the opportunity to announce his own social projects aimed towards providing education for the less privileged in society.
Speaking to the US ambassador, he Ghanaian international - who is preparing for this third season with Columbus Crew - expressed his determination to help gifted youngsters reach their goals of becoming seasoned professional football players.

"I want to give back and my future plan is to help deprived kids who are talented to play football by combining school and the game," he told the US Ambassador.
"I see myself as ambassador for Columbus Crew in Ghana and also a shining example for the kids. The US is my second home and so it's good to bond with you and your staff.
"I am ready to avail myself to the Embassy for all your social programs which are soccer related."
