Some Ghanaian, journalists, civil society activists and politicians met with UK Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, in Accra on the first day of his visit to Ghana.
The get-together, which was hosted by the UK High Commission under the leadership of Jon Benjamin, came after Johnson met with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Flagstaff House.
Zanetor Rawlings and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah were the politicians who attended, while Nana Aba Anamoah and Kojo Yankson represented journalists.
IMANI president, Franklin Cudjoe, was in attendance, as was Kwaku Sakyi Addo, the president of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications.
The UK foreign secretary is in the country to boost ties between Ghana and the UK.
He will visit the Blue Skies company and hold meetings with business leaders and young entrepreneurs supported by the Department for International Development’s ENGINE project.
