President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo joined Trade Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, at the final funeral rites of the former's late sister in Kumasi.

Nana Addo, ex-president J.A. Kufuor, Speaker of Parliament, Mike Ocquaye were part of political stalwarts that joined Alan Cash in mourning the late, Bridget Kyerematen-Darko.

Bridget Kyerematen-Darko, 58, died from injuries she sustained during the gas station explosion at La in Accra.

The gas explosion which occurred in December 2016, extended to her shop "Aid to Artisans Ghana".

The late Kyerematen-Darko worked with the Ministry of Finance where she was part of a team on Private Sector Reform.

Other NPP "gurus" at the burial service include; First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Maafo; Agric Minister, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto; Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei-Mensah; Deputy Chief of Staff-Asenso Boakye among others.

Highlife legend, Amakye Dede was also at the burial held at the Kumasi Jubilee Park. He performed a live band performance to climax the burial.
