The lyrical beef between self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale and rapper, Yaa Pono has been condemned by many, the latest person to have added his voice for a ceasefire is one-time Hipline artiste, Ex-Doe.
Speaking on Hitz FM, the rapper said he feared the recent ‘beef’ between the two could degenerate and get violent.
Ex-Doe added that the exchange of words and ‘diss’ songs between Shatta Wale and Yaa Pono is very unhealthy.

“If one gets angry and cannot win this lyrical fight, won’t he pull a gun? Won’t he go and fight with his squad? It is going to be deadly. I am really sad,” he observed.
He, however, urged Shatta Wale and Yaa Pono to calm down and use their music to inform and entertain.
Ex-Doe is on record as one of the first Hiplife artistes to release a ‘diss’ song in Ghana.

The Shatta Wale, Yaa Pono ‘beef’ started when the former prevented the latter from performing at a show in Cape Coast.
Pono then decided to released a song, directing shots at Shatta.
