Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has been lauded by the minority in parliament for presenting a budget that was devoid of propaganda.
Speaking at a press conference, Minority Leader, Haruna Idrissu hailed the finance minister for being truthful during his presentation.
"We note that the Finance Minister refrained from the unfortunate propaganda that other leaders of the NPP use to do, especially vice president Mahamudu Bawumia when it comes to discussing the economy," he said.

Ofori-Atta was also applauded for acknowledging the efforts and contribution of the NDC government.
"He rightly acknowledged the significant contributions made in the management of the economy by the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.”
Finance Minister, ken Ofori-Atta on Thursday presented the first budget of the NPP government to parliament itemising seven programmes that would be executed in 2017.
