Firebrand Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kesse has revealed that he intends to to move to Kumasi on account of former Ashanti Regional Commander, Kofi Boakye's re-assignment as the Director of Research and Planning department at the service's headquarters.
According to the Yakubu hitmaker, should the former Ashanti Regional Commander decide to "become wild" in Accra, he will already be in Kumasi. He further - somewhat comically - revealed that he intends to build a house in Kumasi for that matter.
Former Ashanti Regional Commander, Kofi Boakye was reassigned to head the Research and Planning Department of the Ghana Police Service in series of reshuffles initiated by the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Asante Apeatu.

Speaking to Kofi Adomah Nwanwani of Adom FM, Kwaw Kesse related that he intended to avoid any temptation of meeting the man who arrested him.
“Now that he is Accra he may decide to do something so I am off to Kumasi. When he becomes wild in Accra I will be in Kumasi,” the rapper comically said.
Kwaw Kesse was arrested for smoking marijuana, and dragged before a Kumasi court in 2014. This occurred during DCOP Kofi Boakye's tenure as the Ashanti Regional Commander, the police service's top dog in the region.
Kwaw Kesse was later released on medical grounds, but not before serving a days impressment at the Kumasi central Prisons and fully paying a Gh¢1,200 fine.
